


Beyond Camp by Northeast Volleyball Club
We are proud to be partnering with Northeast Volleyball Club–the premier volleyball club in Connecticut–for our third annual Beyond Camp x NEVBC this summer! We will be running two waves of overnight/day camps at Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, CT.
These camps are designed for girl volleyball athletes entering 7th-11th grade who possess advanced intermediate to high-performance volleyball skills and experience playing on a team, either through a club team or travel program or at school. Beyond Camp by Northeast Volleyball Club is designed and run by experienced NEVBC Lead and Court Coaches, who help athletes elevate their game through proven volleyball training methods, elite positional skills, engaging drills, fun games, and team building activities. Location
Camp will take place on the campus of Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, CT
- Dormitories are air conditioned and within walking distance of the athletic facilities
- All meals will be consumed in the Dining Hall on campus, also located within walking distance of the dorms and athletic facilities
2026 Dates, Age Groups & Eligibility Requirements
Session 1: All Skills & Compete Camp
Dates: Sun July 26-Wed July 29 (incoming U13-U15)
Eligible campers: For girls entering 7th-9th grade
Recommended for all rising 13’s, 14’s and 15’s teams
Eligibility requirements:
Minimum requirement of at least two years of club experience, including experienced players in 6 vs. 6 volleyball with rotations who are able to serve, pass, set, and attack consistently.
Format:
Positional drills and skill development, with practice through competition grouped by level and ability, plus off-court training. Off-court training will include video analysis, defensive and offensive systems training, conditioning, mindfulness, and technical breakdown of skills.
NEW FOR 2026:
This camp blends focused skill development with live competition. Athletes will train through high-repetition drills in passing, setting, and attacking, then immediately apply those skills in competitive play grouped by playing experience. Off-court sessions include video analysis, offensive and defensive systems training, conditioning, mindfulness, and detailed technical breakdowns to accelerate all-around growth.
Session 2: Advanced Compete Camp
Dates: Wed July 29-Sat Aug 1
Eligibility campers: For girls entering 9th-11th grades
Recommended for all rising 15’s, 16’s, and 17’s teams
Eligibility requirements:
Incoming U15–U17 with a minimum of two years of club experience or one year of club plus one season on a high school varsity team, including experienced players in 6 vs. 6 volleyball with rotations who are able to serve, pass, set, and attack consistently.
Format:
New for 2026: This is a high-rep, competition-focused camp built around live play. Athletes will compete throughout the day in 2v2, 3v3, and 6v6 formats, with both indoor and outdoor volleyball integrated into the schedule. Each day includes approximately seven hours of play, along with guided mindfulness and body reset sessions (stretching, rolling, and recovery work) to support performance and durability.
Note: If you are an incoming 8th grader who has 2+ years of club volleyball experience and has competed on a 1s/OPEN team this past season, please email us at beyondcampsusa@gmail.com, and we will determine your eligibility for this camp.
Additional Option:
Select campers (including approved incoming 8th graders ) who are registered to attend both Sessions 1 and 2 will have the option to stay on campus in between sessions for an additional $50 fee (includes lunch that day). This will be an option to select on the registration site.
Pricing*
Overnight Camp (3 night/4 day): $925 per session
Extended Day Camp 9am-8pm: $745 per session (Sunday 3pm-6pm, Monday & Tuesday 9am-6pm, Wed 9am-11am)
*in addition to tuition a one time $35 registration fee will be charged per family per year at the time of registration

About Northeast Volleyball Club
Northeast Volleyball Club (NEVBC) is the premier volleyball club and training center in Connecticut, dedicated to providing young athletes with comprehensive training and competition. Founded in 2018 by Garrett and Cat Minyard, former NCAA Division I and professional volleyball players, NEVBC trains both girls and boys at all stages of their volleyball journey within a professional and growth-focused setting. Our mission is to foster the growth of volleyball within our region, cultivate a strong volleyball community surrounding NEVBC, and elevate both the standard of play and volleyball knowledge – all within a highly professional and fun environment.
In just 8 seasons, NEVBC has seen over 90 of its athletes proceed to play volleyball at the collegiate level, with 35 securing spots in NCAA Division I programs and 56 in Division III. Many of our current college athletes will be back training, coaching, and inspiring the next generation of volleyball players this summer!
With our club teams consistently ranked among the top teams in the region and landing within the top 5-10% nationally, we take pride in our training philosophy and curriculum. Our coaches meticulously design each session, utilizing proven techniques, drills, and games to facilitate rapid growth, ensuring every athlete receives ample touches and learns through both repetition, creative play, competition.
